New to our range: the PTK PR1500 tableting machine

This machine is equipped with automatic weight control, which allows the weight of each tablet to be kept to a minimum. In addition, the machine monitors hardness and thickness. Together, these checks ensure a high-quality product. To ensure that the machine does not have to be shut down and that the tablets are packaged dust-free, it is also fitted with an automatic powder feeding unit and an automatic dust removal unit.

This machine enables the production of tablets with a maximum diameter of 25 mm (round or custom shapes). With the help of tooling suppliers, it is possible to develop almost any desired shape. Depending on the formulation and tablet shape, tablet weights of up to 2000 mg can be achieved.

The box above shows a few examples of possible tablet shapes. Special shapes, such as tablets with embossing or debossing, are also possible.

The machine’s speed and flexibility have a positive impact on production and on changing tooling or products; furthermore, the machine can be cleaned easily and quickly. This enables us to serve our customers promptly when delivering our products.
