What will you be doing?
As Financial Controller, you will be the financial linchpin of our organisation. You will ensure reliable reporting, monitor budgets and proactively contribute to strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the board, management team, Sales, HR and other departments to safeguard and improve our financial health. In addition, you are a go-getter with a no-nonsense attitude and a flexible, pragmatic approach.
What are we looking for?
You have several years’ work experience, are analytical and proactive, think in terms of solutions, and feel at home in a dynamic environment where not everything is set in stone and where your knowledge and skills really make a difference:
– Higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking (specialising in finance & control)
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
– Ability to work with ERP systems–
Experience with PowerBI (reporting tool) and AFAS is an advantage–
Knowledge of payroll administration, pensions, insurance and employment law–
Knowledge of taxation, VAT, ICP returns and CBS surveys–
Fluent in Dutch,
good command of English– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both formal and informal)
– Able to work both independently and as part of a team–
Reliable and of high integrity–
Hands-on
approach– Experience of working in organisations of a similar size–
Driven to improve and with experience of improvement programmes
