Today, we’re taking a behind-the-scenes look at the final stage of the entire process your product goes through at DuSart Pharma. The handling and dispatch of your product is the very last step in the process – and certainly not an unimportant one. Today, the Logistics Department has its say!
Once your product has been manufactured, it is inspected by our Quality Department. You read about the Quality Department in our previous instalment. As mentioned, this inspection is a very important step, as it is the final check before the finished product reaches you, the customer. Before our products leave the factory, they undergo thorough checks to assess, for example, the hardness, colour, smell and (where relevant) the taste of the tablet. Even when the end product is packaging, it is checked once again.
Once the product meets all the required specifications and has been given the all-clear by the laboratory, it is released for dispatch and may leave our factory. The administrative process is now complete and your product moves on to the final department in this process: the Logistics Department. Our logistics officer, Marcel, ensures that all products are carefully packed in our warehouse. He receives the order and then collects the products from our warehouse. He then seals the pallets containing your products and prepares them for transport.
